DESCRIPTION

1st day:

In the morning departure from Ouarzazate, we travel through the Draa valley, rich in traditional villages and palm groves, Agdz, visit of the Tamnougalt Kasbah. Zagora. Lunch in a local family’s home in Tamegroute. Tagounite. Sacred Oasis. Sunset in the dunes of Chegaga, « the sand sea”. Traditional atmosphere: In the evening, you will share an excellent dinner next to a fire place, then followed by darboukas (local drums), lyrics and traditional dances. Overnight in typical nomadic tents.

2nd. day:

Breakfast, dromadary ride in the dunes. Visit to the nomads. Return to Ouarzazate in the late afternoon.

Vegetarian meals on request. The meals, we prepare for you out in the desert, are made of fresh ingredients that are mostly produced in our region.

DESCRIPTION

1st day:

We start in the morning, travel through traditional villages with earthen houses and palm groves. At noon lunch in the dunes of Erg de Juif. Sacred Oasis. In the evening, you will share an excellent dinner next to a fire place, then followed by darboukas (local drums), lyrics and traditional dances in the dunes of Chegaga. Overnight in typical nomadic tents.

2nd day:

Breakfast, dromadary ride in the dunes, visit to the nomad’s. Back to Tamegroute in the end of the afternoon and visit of the village.

2 days – 1 night

DESCRIPTION

Departure from Tamegroute to desert – through typical villages with earthen houses, palm groves, hamada (stone desert) and sand areas. Riding on our dromedaries about 1 1/2 hours to the desert camp. Sunset in the dunes.

In the evening you will share an excellent dinner next to an open fireplace. Traditional atmosphere with Berber music and lyrics. Overnight in a nomads tent. In the morning – after a delicious breakfast – dromedary ride in the dunes. Return to Tamegroute before noon.

Option 1:

You go with your own car to M’hamid. In M’hamid we go on with our dromedaries to the desert camp. Included: Guide, dromedary ride, overnight/ accomodation, dinner and breakfast. Not included: Drinks

Option 2:

We pick you up at Tamegroute and bring you to M’hamid, where our guide and the dromedaries are awaiting you. At the end of the tour we pick you up at M’hamid and bring you back to Tamegroute.

Merzouga: Dunes d’or et ciel étoilé

DESCRIPTION

Merzouga is a small village in southeastern Morocco, about 35 kilometres southeast of Rissani, about 55 kilometers from Erfoud, and about 50 kilometers from the Algerian border.

The village is known for its proximity to Erg Chebbi, a Saharan erg, and it is for this reason a part of the itineraries of many tourists visiting Morocco.

In this golden dunes desert the show is even more marvelous at sunset and dawn. You have the possibility to ride dromedaries. Overnight either in the hotel or in typical Berber tents. We also visit the famous Rissani souk.

3 days – 2 nights
